Pricing
All workshops are on-demand and pop-up — scheduled at a time and location that works for you. Pricing is based on the session type, who provides the space, how many participants are building, and how long the session runs. There is a 2-hour minimum on all sessions.
Session Types
Two distinct workshop tracks, each with its own hourly rate.
Electronics Workshop
Breadboard-based, no-solder circuits. Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, and signal generators while building real battery-powered projects. 2–10 workstations per session.
Vintage Computing Session
Hands-on with authentic Commodore 64 and VIC-20 systems. Program in BASIC, operate disk drives and datasettes, and play classic games on real hardware. 4–6 workstations per session.
Venue Tiers (flat base fee per session)
The base fee covers travel, transport, and setup. Choose based on who provides the space and furniture.
Kits Only
You provide a furnished space with tables, chairs, and accessible grounded power outlets. AuctorLabs brings kits, computers, test equipment, and printed materials.
~15–30 min setup
Full Setup
You provide an unfurnished indoor room with power outlets and ground-floor access. AuctorLabs brings folding tables, chairs, power strips, and all equipment.
~60 min setup · ~30 min teardown · Space must be available 60 min before start and 30 min after end
Turnkey
AuctorLabs arranges and rents a suitable venue (community center, library meeting room, etc.) and brings all furniture and equipment. You just show up.

Pricing Examples
Up to 2 people may share one workstation and pay a single workstation fee. Each independent project or activity counts as a separate workstation slot.
Example 1 — Electronics, 1 workstation, 2 hours, Tier A (Kits Only)
Example 2 — Electronics, 3 workstations, 3 hours, Tier B (Full Setup)
Example 3 — Vintage Computing, 4 workstations, 2 hours, Tier C (Turnkey)
Example 4 — Vintage Computing, 4 workstations, 3 hours, Tier A (Kits Only)
Take-Home Kits
Project materials are included for use during the session. Want to keep building at home? Take-home kits are available for purchase at the workshop.
Basic Starter Kit
Breadboard, jumper wire set, resistor assortment, LED assortment, ceramic capacitor assortment, 9V battery snap and battery.
Project-Specific Kit
All components needed for a specific project. Price varies by project. Ask at the session.
Workshop Bundle
Basic Starter Kit + one Project Kit at a 10% discount on the combined price.
Summer Camps (June – August)
Week-long electronics and vintage computing camps are available for community centers, libraries,
schools, and other organizations. Camps run 5 half-days (3 hours each) for groups of 6–12 participants.
Electronics Camp: $175 / camper (full week) · $1,050–$2,100 total
Vintage Computing Camp: $200 / camper (full week) · $1,200–$2,400 total

Notes
- 2-hour minimum on all sessions. Time is billed in full hours — no partial-hour billing.
- Up to 2 people may share one workstation and pay a single workstation fee. Each independent project counts as a separate workstation slot.
- Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult at their workstation for the duration of the session.
- Service area: 30-mile radius from Mason, OH 45040. Sessions beyond 30 miles may incur a mileage surcharge of $0.70/mile (round trip) for each mile beyond 30.
- Availability: Mon–Fri 6–10 PM · Sat 9 AM–9 PM · Sun 1–9 PM. Sessions must end within the listed window.
- Payment is due before the session begins via cash, card, or digital payment (Zelle, Venmo, PayPal).
Full terms, cancellation policy, and venue requirements are detailed in the Booking Agreement. All participants must sign a Liability Waiver before the session begins.
